Are you talking about the three bolt flange that comes from air filter

so what type of tuning box up grade so i use i was looking at a dp or more power

try at the intake manifold you will find it does the same and just give it a little it of a tap

Same as the water cooled they have little radiator out the front but I guess there is less area for it to block plus having its own fan and cooling system could cool instead of restricting so how do you get rid of the heat to the ambient air? Snorkel??

not 100% on d40's i have heard of restriting them like putting a plate in with a hole drilled in it say 8mm something like dash lights coming on

No just the blanking plate does all that is needed no engine or turbo problems

only problem with top mount coolers is they get heat soke from engine heat

Its a good idea Ive done mine. I didnt think twice it stops all exhaust going into your intake stopping engine problems and turbo

Wuldnt it be better for tuning and alround water cooler having a min change in temps when working hard or even just crusing

A frount mount wouldnt work very good. (With little air flow when 4wheel driving) Reason for water cooling

Hi i was just wonderin if anyone has done any turbo and intercooler upgrades on there ZD30T's? I've been told to put a VNT turbo (off the patrol ZD30) on with a water air barrel Any tips or hints would be handy pics if any ones done it Thanks
