    Has anyone had coolant in the oil from an oil cooler

    I was led to believe it was primarily designed for heating the oil up quicker. Many recommend bypassing it to avoid the common problem you experienced. I did it years ago and have not had any problems. Mind you, I don't do heavy towing. With heavy towing I expect it's role would be for both...

    D40 Gearbox Mount nut rounded.

    I suggest finding a nut that can be held/jammed over the rounded head. Fill the nut hole with a weld to the old rounded nut. This will provide the necessary heat and also provide a sound head to apply a socket to. I have had too much heartache with broken ezi outs to ever recommend them.

    Check your uni joints. I had a similar problem. Was front drive shaft's universal joints. I excluded the torque converter by getting at speed where vibration occurred and disengaged the lock on the side of the stick.
