i did a clutch at 40000 and they wound up replacing it and the fly wheel. they did'nt want to but a bit of sweet talking:) did the trick

put it in today to see what they say.they clutch is slipping and it's only 1 yr old this week. doe'nt sound promising going by their attitude and reckon 3 k to if they won't cover it. shit will hit the fan if they don't.

they all smoke.i know my d40 does. when i started looking around to buy one the salesman was spinning a yarn on how all of the new common rail diesels don't blow smoke.what a load of crap, they all do.

i'm looking at doing it in the next couple of months to my d40. going 2.5 inch . supposed to give more power and better fuel economy especially on long trips which i do quite often.been quoted $1100

i looked at that one but they reckon they can't fit a gauge to it so it's pretty much guess work to know how much you have left in it.

gday all thought i'd join and have a look about. i purchased i stx d40 a couple of months ago. so far so good. have put a 2 inch lift, 160 lt tank , duel battery system and a few accessories in it so far. just need a decent set of feet now. cheers dave

thats the go. i just had a 160 lt fitted to my stx for $1400 (supply and fit )by opposite lock. i was'nt to keen on the auxilary tank either.
