I am thinking of buying a new Navara ST-X, but am deterred by the apparent inability to engage low range without having the front hubs locked in (ie in 4WD). I can do this now with my Patrol by leaving the front (manual) hubs unlocked and this is very useful when trying to back heavy trailers up...
