Selling my spare alternator as i no longer have a Zd30. Its a patrol one with 110 amps from memory, standard is only 80? It is used but still working condition, wouldn't have seen 10k of use. will bolt straight in, no mods required $150 ono. Located in wellington NSW, can post at your cost...

G'day guys, I've got on going fuel issues with my zd30 and I'm Having trouble getting to the bottom of it. Will run fine for say 2 hours then starts running like a dog and will stall. Won't start again until I prime it. I have 2 lift pumps in the system and a surge tank, and they won't prime it...

Anyone had an issue with the revs surging in the zd30? like it would if it was running out of fuel almost. seems to surge about 100-250 rpm, it will do it for a while then stop. doesnt do it as much on idle but if i hit the heat switch or driving along it does.
