I had my cab above the windscreen fix up now I am now getting the bonnet fix up started to show after 3 years on the cab and 3 months ago on the bonnet the paint peeled off All fixed under warranty I had extened warranty Pete

Sorry about the paint But I had the paint peel off just above the windscreen My d40 is a 2007 model Nissan fix it I have never done any four wheel driving or used a presure washer It was a bad paint job It started to peel off after 31/2 years Pete

Nissan have been great i have had the roof repainted no cost to me. I have tried to put the photo on doing as the tutorial showed but no luck if you want to leave a e/mail address i send the photo maybe you can add it to the forum

I had the whole lot changed flywheel clutch plate pressure plate which cost about $1600.00 for parts Peter

Had a new clutch fitted in my d40 it cost 2,640 dollars it is a single mass flywheel with heavy duty clutch plate and pressure plate i had done 75,000 km on my old one The new one it work,s well you do get a bit of vibration at low revs Got in done in townsville by Townsville mechanical services...

I was just wondering towing a caravan with load levellers on would this put extra weight on the front with a 2.5 ton van pete

Anybody knows if exedy clutches are having trouble with their thrust bearings in their HD clutch kits I have been told they are and trying to sort it out this is for a d40 2007 pete:thank_you2:

Hi tony I tow a van about 2.5t in a d40 and i have been doing it for three year and have towed in over 40deg and never had a heat worry I do about 90 to 100km a hour Peter

Its a 2.5yd motor stx40d the motor stops but the dry bearing sound go on for a good 6sec after every thing has stop moving I am thinking maybe turbo bearing I have just ran out of the first warranty But luckly I got the extended warranty Brought it on the 5th of dec 2007 Thanks for your advice I...

When I turn off the motor you hear what sounds like a dry bearing noise You can not hear it while it is running It has just started It only goes for about 6 seconds after you shut down the motor I will take it to nissan when the open Any ideas Peter
