Ive had my str for about 14 months. Not one warranty issue yet. Theres a lot of issues come to light with the d40 on this forum. ( brakes, clutch, rattles,fuel usage, diffs, etc etc.) Might be wrong but it seems the str would win hands down in the reliability stakes. Roy.

You could try ringing around the 4x4 stores like arb or tjm. A lot of guys dont bother to take them home after getting bullbars fitted. Roy.

Hi Laith. Try moving to the other side of the road. You will probably find it then pulls to the right because of camber. Mine does' And that is with a recent alignment. Roy.

Thats what i am talking about exactly mate. I have had a 50mm efs lift done a few months ago, also had wheel alignment then. Still the same. Its an 08 str that has done 14000k. It is the play in the steering wheel thats an issue. Thanks for the ideas guys.

Thanks Guys. Seems its not only mine then. You do get tired of "driving' every meter. The thing just wanders too much. Did have 40lbs in the front tires, dropped down to 37. Didnt help, but thanx Tweekes.

Since new my nav veers to the left or right of road. (depending on camber). When not moving and engine off, the steering wheel has about 2 inches of play each way. What would anyone reccomend to correct this. any one else have this problem.?

BP ultimate is at brighton (adelaide). Used half a tank so far. Engine does run better. I like it. cost $1.18 The day I filled up. Thats in an 08 d22. 2.5l. Usually get bang on 10lt per 100k. will let you know how this lot goes.

Called in to grand nissan today. Definately now made in Thailand. They look exactly the same. They are $31000 now, but will be about $34000 in 2 months time. The longer tray is the only difference. They only had one left [green] of the 08 model.

Hi Dave. I drive an 08 str. Been good so far. In desperate need of new shocks etc. Nissan ones are crap. Gets used for work and weekends. A big change from the disco i had before it. I really know i am driving a ute. Roy
