Weird - just checked it again after not starting it for about 4 hours and it seems over-full. I might drain the oil and refill it. Does anyone know exactly how many litres of oil this motor should take?

Just had to put nearly2 litres of oil in my diesel after about 4000ks. Was wondering whether this is normal on a diesel and what other people are adding between services. Engine is an 04 3l turbo with 95 000ks on it.
