Azza, the rims were $388 each and you can get them from tyre shops that sell Dick Cepeks or Mickey Thompson tyres. Some 4x4 shops (the local TJM) sell em also. No performance mods yet but I do have a couple of things in mind for "one day".

Keep an eye on the Dick Cepek Torque thread. I will post up a pic showing how much my 16x8's stick out sometime over the weekend dude. They dont stick out much but I can see my back tyres when looking in the sideview mirrors now.:unsure:

Side and front shots Matt. As I said, I dunno about offset but the wheels now stick out what looks almost an inch over the original wheels which makes sense with the rims being 16x8's and not the original 16x7's.

Your guess as to offset is as good as mine I'm afraid Jason but you would think they'd be zero offset but who knows? The dude from the shop told me when I asked about offset that he has absolutely no idea what offset the wheels needed to be. When ordering from the supplier, they just state...

I definately wasnt going to buy an 09 STR until I test drove one because I was a bit concerned the little 2.5 motor might be a tad gutless but I was pretty impressed actually. The little 2.5 certainly doesnt rocket away from the lights like my petrol Jackaroo does but it has a shitload more...
