    Odometer pause

One of the reasons that there is a housing rental shortage is that people are changing their long term rentals to AirB&B. More money to be made, but now people dont have the money to go on holidays. The world is going backwards, you and i can see it, people in the pub seem to know how to fix it...

    Favourite Upgrades?

Bilstein's all round, Heavy duty leaf springs with air bags. Smart bar on the front with driving lights, fogs and no winch. Yokohama Tyres rotated front to back every 5k with oil change [tradie truck, gear in the back with ladders on top] I get a good wear on the tyres.

I got a lift into Newcastle yesterday in my mates new BYD EV. Smooth ride, quiet but i dont like the big computer screen sitting up in the middle of the dashboard with a small screen in front of the steering wheel. Upgrade the original halogen driving lights to LED what could be simpler

I was speaking to someone a while ago and they said they got rid of their [stop/start] car because the battery and starter had to be replaced just after the warranty expired...big bucks.

    Advice Needed

I even add a tiny drop in the unleaded fuel for the lawnmower, runs smooth and cuts the grass better.

    Thinking of Replacing the battery

Hi guys, i read an old post by Tony about the Century ultra high performance battery and was wondering what fits a 2011 D40. The one i have in now is a repco and is a few years down the track, slow crank in the cold.

D40 cutting out at low revs.

Hi Jim, I don't know about the Kero, but if you follow the instructions with the Fuel Doctor you will notice the difference. Maybe smarter brains than mine on this forum can comment on the kero.

    Fuel Additive

You will need to buy the 1 litre bottle to start with a shock dosage of 500ml to the first tank, then it's 1ml / Lt to every tank after that to maintain clenliness and power. I get mine from Supercheap as a members special price.

    Fuel Additive

I use Fuel Doctor in every tank now, not just on long trips. It cleans from tank to tailpipe and improves the fuel consumption.

    replacing a tub

I had an Aluminium canopy put on the back of my 2011 d40 [replacing the tub] and the fuel filler had been kinked when fitted to the tray. I took it to my mechanic and he had to splice a flexible hose in. Be careful, they dont flex too far.
