I'm starting to get fed up with my Td25's lack of power. Just wondering what engines will bolt straight in? Does the td42 bolt to a td25 gearbox? I dont mind having to make custom engine mounts or cut inner guards etc but I dont want to mess about with any common rail drive by wire bollocks...

Thought I'd start a thread to show the progress of my D22 overhaul. i bought the Navara early 09 as a writeoff. I already had a rusty D21 with low kms which donated its engine and gearbox and a few other bits into the newer truck.

My d22 sometimes makes a kind of whirring noise that i think may be the auto locking hubs. If you change down a gear it usually clunks as if the hub has enganged or disengaged and the noise stops. Question 1 - can i fit manual locking hubs from a d21 or are they different? Question 2 - If i fit...

I'm trying to replace my lower control arm bushes but having trouble getting the bolt out. Its the rear one with the splined head that fits onto the torsion bar. Does anybody know how to get this out without wrecking it? Let me know if you need photos
