Tappet just explaned it exactly as it happens in my ute.air temps at mid 20s psi and above im seeing are at 180°+ pre cooler.thats oven temps!! Bring it back to say 21psi and its much more managable.im really just driving by the egt gauge now...ie too hot and back off.fun over..
Mind you If i turn every chip off i can still get the ute the hit well over 820°c..790 is my limit with the chips on.
There needs to be a sensible voice here somwhere..i say cheers tappet as your dead right
