Hi there,
I am new to the site and thought I would throw a couple of pictures of my 2005 Nissan Navara D22 fitted with a SR20DET out of a S14 Silvia.
Got allot of plans for it, sort out a new rear tray, fit some bigger wheels and tyres, lowers it around 50mm.

Anymore pics, does the SR20 gearbox line up where the Navara gearbox usually sits.

Yeah just the stock turbo at the moment, may one day go to a bigger one but it runs well enough at the moment. Will try and get a video up of what it can do I you like.

Been awhile since I updated this.
Scored my self a new 2wd tray a while back which was in ok condition, a few dents here and there.

So started work on it, first cut off the rear ugly bar that goes up around the rear window. Welded up the holes and filled the small dents.
Since I have a tray liner going in the rear I didn't see any point of painting the inside of the tray as it would be covered by the liner.

All ready to be primed,

All primed,

Blocked the primer back then finished sanding it with 600 grit. I thought about painted they tray at home but I didn't want the hassle of getting dust and bugs in the paint so I got it all prepped ready for the painters then took it down to them.

Old tray off,

The paint work came up mint, very happy with how straight it came up I cant find an imperfections in it. Although as you can probably see, they silver is a lighter silver to the old paint a mistake by the painters as I was told there are 13 variants in that one colour code. So it has to go back tomorrow to be redone, but I am now have some serious thought on having the rest of the ute resprayed in the new silver as the paint work on the ute has hard a hard life. The new silver looks a lot better too so I will get a quote tomorrow and see if I can be tempted into getting it all done.

Cheers

Was talking to a guy I know the other day who said he know's you.
