2012 STX 550 Hard Cover Wiring Harness

I've just purchased a new Navara D40 STX 550 (Spanish Assembled) and I'm in the process of fitting a near new second hand central locking hard cover to it. The hard cover came without the original wiring harness and I've since bought a replacement (Part No LOOM0029-B, Batch No 14023-002) from a local dealership. We've now discovered that the part will not fit (male and female plugs are not compatible) and have since been advised by the Nissan Dealership that this was the only part available. After talking to our local dealership I'm not the only one whose had this problem. A tech message has been sent to Nissan but as yet we've not received any response. Query - Has anyone else had this issue when installing a hard cover to their Navara. I'm running out of ideas
