Awning screwed to roof racks??

I have a '03 str 4 door and I've bought a tigerz 11 awning,and I was hoping I could buy rhino rack 2500 multifit roof racks to screw my awning into,not bothered if I have to pull it of when I'm not away using it,but roof rack city reckon I don't do it for possible roof damage? Any UFOwould be much appreciated,thanks.

I've got 1 mate, haven't fitted it yet but am going to weld it to a set of ladder racks i'm buying, alot of people have them fitted to roof racks tho

Yeah I see it all the time,and I have hard Ute lid so I can't use ladder racks which is what I would like,I'm going for it ,I've got the awning and going to Fraser at xmas so roof racks it is I think lol,cheers mate

No worries, there should be a universal rof rack mount out there, call Tigerz and see how they recoment to fit it...?
