Hey guys, I did a silly recently and got a d22 turbocharger for my d40. Is it a possible fit or did I just waste my money? Same engine if that helps yd24ddi. If it was definitely a silly. Where can I go to sell the turbocharger?

I know around the era of my 2009 D40 the turbos were different - the D22s used a wastegate with no spool control, the D40s used a variable vane turbo. Control of each was different, and if memory serves the boost levels and responsiveness were also different.
If the D22 turbo can be bolted into the D40 (no guarantee on that) I'd think it would work but may not provide as much boost.
Where would you sell it? Perhaps you could put it in the marketplace here, and/or put it on eBay as well.
