Hi, i had to take the fuel tank out of my 14 spanish, and now the fuel gauge doesn’t work. the wires pulled out of the connector in the process, but was able to reinstall them seemingly ok, although not entirely confident that the are the right way around. i have tried with the wires in each position but just have the fuel light on and no gauge movement. i am getting 375 ohms across the sender unit wires when disconnected. hope somebody can help me.
cheers Gary.

Hi Old Tony, all the electrics were fine. i ended up solving the problem via u-tube. With the ignition on, press and hold the trip meter for 10 seconds, while still holding the trip meter in, turn the ignition off then back on and the fuel gauge works again.
damn spooky i reckon!
