Sunglass holder/interior light removal

Hi All
New member on the Gold Coast with a 2013 D40 ST Spain built dual cab.
Problem I have is the antenna is broken off and I want to remove the antenna base, any ideas how I remove the sunglass holder and interior light section for access to the nut that holds the base down.

I remember reading about this a few years ago and the advice was to pop it out but from the front first. I did this with mine after the sunglass holder wouldn't shut. The clips may break if you try to get it out from the back first.
