Tail gate lock for fiberglass canopy nissan navarra 2008 can not be lock using the key any help or have a diagram how to repair Caddyboy Brand lock

Any help from any brethrens and brothers on how to repair this misaligned hard canopy Caddyboy brand lock of my 2008 Navarra is highly appreciated my Email address : removed SMIB

My own canopy (slightly different to yours, but may be the same issue) had its handle come loose like that. I discovered that a circlip inside the mechanism had come loose allowing the handle to move about freely. I had to open one of the other windows to get in to work on it.

If not a circlip, probably a locating washer/lock nut assembly that has loosened.
