Massive valving to application mismatch. Totally unnecessary to put "the biggest shocks that will fit" on the thing. I especially like the one later in the thread who had broken a home made shock hoop clean off, he'd be feeling a bit foolish.

If I had a dollar for everyone who thought that shock absorbers contribute to ride height, my Navara would be awesome.

Looked like a "Tough Dog RALPH" shock which are for full size 4wd's not a hilux.
