fault code 2234

Haven't got my fault codes list on this computer but have you tried a Google search, there is a lot of codes listed on the net, some generic some Nissan.

Are you sure it's not 0234? That's the turbo control system (map sensor and boost solenoid).
My manual doesn't list 2234 in either the Consult or ECM columns of the DTC table (p996 of EC.pdf).
I'd guess it's 0234 as well.
When you start the car, does the little arm between the actuator and the turbocharger move in and out a little?
