hi guys just wondering if anyone here has ever or has 16x8 inch wheels because im wanting to 285 75 16 inch tyres on once i get my suspension lift an body lift in just after black sunraisers??

yeah mate there definitely is guys on here with that combo and there are guys on here that have that size tyre on 7' rims also, both stock and sunnies.
Check out some garages or look through the gallery.

Ive got -44 offset 8" steelies but with 285/65's but with a bit of massaging they should fit

I run 16x8 dynamic wheels that dynamic made for the navara d40 so you get no rubbing. I only run 265's atm but 285's run on them no problems either.

I run 16x8 dynamic steelies with 285 75r16 there awesome no scrubbing anywhere besides just massaging the inner gaurd a bit my build thread has plenty of pics

That upsets me.
When I was looking for rims the best I could do was a 16x7 with 16 offset
Dynamic didn't do a 16x8 with anything other then a 0 offset

About time they came into the game

Hey mike they still only make the zero offset for the 16x8 but that it looks fine on the car hardly hang out of the guards I'm putting rubber flares to counter that not that I really need to

i've got some 17x8 Alloys (Cross 5 or something) in the shed waiting til I can be arsed putting the lift in, then i'll be putting (hopefully) some 285/70 17's on, if not (depending on the mrs) 265/70 17

CSA make 16x8 rims, i got CSA 16x7 though +30 offset so they sit where the alloys did once upon a time

Hey trev,

I run a 2 inch efs with 35mm snake spacer in front cause it was a bit nose down in the front which every suspension kit has problems with. Now its pretty much level 1000m ground to guard on 265's which is the extent you can go lift wise on a D40 without going to a 5inch calamani kit cause you get upper control arm to coilover hat contact as you go higher. Mine doesn't get to bad contact anymore since all suspension has settled. For half the price of a 5inch kit which measures out to about a 4inch and it rides smooth and has good articulation. This is what a heap of guys run also thats why I was confident when putting the spacer in and as the suspension has worn in has got even better.
