I have found out today and see in writing that in QLD on a 4wd you can increas tire size by 26mm not 15mm so on my nav

D22
265-70-16 which is 777.4mm
265-75-16 is 803.9mm
a differance of 26.5mm whic I recon you could scrape in :victory:

Where is it written down mate?

In this brochure it says "The rim diameter may be varied from the standard size
but the overall diameter of the tyre must not vary by more than +15mm or -26mm."

Don't get me wrong, I hope you are right.

I got this info from the book that the tyre shops have on hand, it tells all sorts of info like make and model of car/4b and what standard size tyre they have and stuff like that. It was only yesterday I had a new tyre fitted on the wifes mazda and thats when I asked him and he got the book out, In the front section it has Australian tyre laws and under the size section in all states except QLD you can go 50mm bigger then good old QLD gets its own section where it states 15mm on passenger vehicle and 26mm on offroad vehicles
