Brake Upgrade ?

Hey all im new here and just had a quick question

i got a 1990 extra cab 2WD D21 and i wanna do a brake upgrade and was wanting to know are the brakes off the V6 (vg30de) model a straight bolt on ?

as they are twin piston and better suited to what i need for my truck as i have done a turbo engine conversion and dont think the stock brakes are going to cut it ...

if the V6 brakes wont fit is there any other brakes i can try i remember reading that GU or GQ patrol brakes fit on navaras but im not too sure how true that is

Welcome to the forum, Dion might be the one to answer this question, he should be on later. I can't see why they wouldn't. You may have to change your stub axle assembly as the bolt holes where the caliper bolts on may be different.

Just put a set of 4WD ZD30 front brakes on. The Master cylinder and Booster are probably bigger, change them to.

will they calipers bolt straight on ?

Not 100%, but check out the service manual and compare them.
