Compressor for diff lock

Thinking about getting a rear ARB diff lock.
To save some cash can i use the TJM air compressor i already own for the air activation even though the compressor doesn't have its own air pressure switch?

yeah thats fine. as long as your compressor can pump up the required pressure.

You can use any compressor you like but you will need to fit a pressure switch so the unit switches itself on and of at the required pressure.

And to give you an idea my ARB compressor that runs my air locker has a range of 70-100 PSI. So it will pump everything up to 100psi then turn off. It wont turn on again till the pressure drops below 70psi.

Also there is an interlock so the locker cant be switched on if the compressor is off. This prevents the locker being activated with lower than required pressures and possibly breaking.
