Has anyone been there for camper trailer camping?
And how popular is it during long weekends or school holidays?
Normally we would go the week after the ankle biters, etc go back, but no option this time.

There are three camp sites (Honeysuckle, Orroral & Mt Clear) along the main road through it and we were thinking of heading off early next week and stopping at one of them for a few days to shake the cobwebs out.
 
G'day Terryc, How do you go in Namadgi with the camper trailer? I'm located in cbr too and looking for a quick weekend away with the new tailer.

You won't have any trouble getting to any of those camp sites. You won't even need to put it in four wheel drive. Honeysuckle is the biggest of the lot and they do tend to get fairly busy when the weather is good.
 
We didn't get there as planned. That was the time when the very cold weather suddenly appeared, so we stayed at home.

Hopefully, we are off on Sunday for there as SWMBO'd is polly lobbying for Post Polio Assn on Wednesday. We wont' have the barmy weather we've had the last few days, but it is supposed to make mid-20s instead of the teens it ad when we were going to go.
