Roof Racks

Lookin at getting some roof racks, want to have a side awning for when i go camping and a mate makes em so mates rates :big_smile:

Anyone recommend any brands?, or know how much the Nissan factory ones are?. ah and how do they mount?

I got Rola racks and are removable. Have sort of a hook that goes around the door jam.

nice, any idea how much they were? theres a set of rhino ones i think on ebay at the moment, $200...seems alot for 2nd hand

Mine were $300 about a year or 2 ago from Autobarn. I am pretty sure thats how much they were.

hey quys, have any of you's experienced any problems with the weight on the racks causing the roof to dint, cos ive read on other forums that some people have this happen to them, Cheers

I only use mine to carry plastic pipe here and there.

So not much weight on mine. So no issues for me.

i've had 8 sheets of villaboard (2400x1200) on my roof without problems but my nissan factory rails are UK style rails and i think they spread the load at the places that connect to the roof more.
