standard psi for a D22

what psi does a standard d22 run???

15 psi was what mine ran at mate.

zd30 is around 15psi stock, up to 18-19 psi with exhaust change.

Mine put out around 15psi standard & with 3" exhaust & dp chip it peaks at 16 Psi.

what rpm do you get 15psi boost at?
i think mines about 2500rpm (tho no chip on it).

Yeah mine only peaks at 16psi with a 3" exhaust.

Hey guys, I am having trouble with LOW PSI on my 2005 D22. New autometer gauge is only reading 12Psi. I have re-installed the gauge twice and received the exact same reading both times. I have replaced the boost (MAP) sensor, still no good. Running 3" exhaust, too.
Also, how does yours come onto boost? Mine seems to come on very slow, only reaching full boost at near 3000 rpm.
I am tempted to take it to a turbo/dyno/diesel professional for help. Unfortunately dont have the funds for a chip yet. Just got the exhaust!

Any help greatly appreciated!

couple of things.

gauge inaccurate.
egr stuck open.
boost leak.
wastegate sticking open.
exhaust restriction eg cat blocked up.

with exhaust and dump pipe it hits 15psi by 2500 (might be a tad lower) and peaks 18psi at 3000 rpm. don't forget waste gate spring is 20psi.

thanks tweake ill check my egr vacuum lines and stuff will keep yiou posted. I re-installed the gauge twice. It acted identically both times. Its an autometer, so it is a good gauge. i'm not running a cat. so we're narrowing it down
