Power supply for 2 12 inch LED bars

Yea guys I'm in the process of wiring up 2 12 inch LED bars. Should i just wire straight to the positive on the battery or should I pick up something else like my cigarette lighter?

Not the cigarette lighter. Pull it from the headlamp supply or at least a fuse that makes good sense, or you'll be chasing your tail all day long 12 months from now.

I'd go a relay and fuse and if you want to use them without the high beams a 3 way switch, 1 for LEDs on with highs, off, LEDs on only without headlights...
