Ok, inside info that nobody is meant to know:
I have a mate that works for M-Sport (Ford World Rally Championship team) as an auto electrician and he told me years ago that the V-TEC Focus has a speaker about the drivers feet that plays an amplified sound of the engine when you accelerate hard, thus you don't have the antisocial exhaust all the time, but do get it when you want driver feedback. Food for thought.
Cool gizmo though, wonder if they can build in a radar jammer?
