boss is looking at new D22 for work as 2nd hand ones are not much off brand new price.
he noticed they now come with 205 16x6 rim.
any one know what ratio the tires are? or overall diameter?
just wondering if the old 16x7 rim will fit so i can use the old 255x70 tires.

also what rpm at 100km/h do you get? i see the later ones have lowered the diff ratio.

205 tires on a ute ???? whats this the 70's ??

soz my bad forgot to mention.....4x4 single cab DX. just checked the specs and double cab is the same !

The Aussie spec still run 265/70/16's as far I as know.

Will have a look next time I drive past the Nissan dealer around here.

Dave.

just found the aussie spec.....Single Cab RX CC 4x4 Diesel 16x6 J alloy wheels with 205 R16 tyres

I thought if the ratio was not stated, the default was 80 or 85? Can't remember which though.

205 doesn't sound too bad, it's not a heavy ute so you don't want too wide a footprint. They've been fitting 205R16s since the D21 at least. If not the 720 as well.

I'll correct myself here. If unmarked, the aspect ratio is anywhere from 78 to 100, with 78 the most common on passenger car tyres. LT tyres can be a guessing game.
