On the 2006 3.0TD STR, is there a low fuel warning light behind the symbol in the fuel gauge. If so how much fuel is left when it come on.

I found nothing in the hand book except to say "if fitted"
 
Yeah they have a fuel light.

It comes on about 10L left, mine comes on at 1150km's usually.

1150kms??? large fuel tank or extra sub tank??? mines has a fuel light under the fuel gauge where all the other warning lights are... usually when there is bout 10-15 liters left and thats around the 750km mark
 
I average about 1000km's a week so it gets used.

I got sick of filling up every 3rd day.

ahaha yeh i fill up every 2-3 days in my work car...its a pain in the ass... but i do my personal car probably once a fortnite if not 3weeks or so
 
I put the big tank in as well as its handy for the long trips camping and fishing.
However during the non camping wet season I only need to fill up about once a month. Rather conveinent I think.
I have never seen the light on mine come on.
I may have to hold off on its next fill up just so I can see the light :)
