They live in London and want to move to the US I doubt anyone can fix their problem. But it's good to see idiots still make money from posting one thread on a forum that has nothing to do with their product.
There is a simple fix. Drill a 12.5mm hole through the device and attach an Outlaw recovery point to it using a 55mm long type 8 high tensile bolt, tighten it with a torque wrench to 920 lbs.
You might want to use stainless steel 13mm washers to protect the device.

why do they bother. It would maybe be a little less obvious if They lived in London and want to move to the Australia and doubted anyone could fix their problem.
I have found that a standard laundry tub acts as a half wavelength waveguide which will cause the phone to transmit twice the distance, this will not unlock the phone though, so to get the phone to reset and unlock you must attenuate the signal by at least 3db. filling the "waveguide" or laundry sink with H2O will allow this reset to occour.
