UHF antenna mount

Hey all, looking at putting a UHF in the nav, and as ive got the standard alloy bull bar there is no antenna mounting point on it. Just wondering how others with the standard bar have mounted there antennas. Ive seen some of the bull bar mounts that clamp on and havent seen one i like yet. Keen to see ideas.

I bought a mount that attaches to the bullbar rail from Prestige Communications.

Or maybe just take it to a welder/boat builder and get him to weld on a tab if you want it to look more factory.

Do you need to remove the BB/Wb from the vehicle or disconect any electronics if you leave it on?

I welded a tab to my stock bar, bit of 1.5" by 1.5" alloy tab.

Always disconnect the battery when welding on a vehicle.
