Similar topic to Luke's, but looking at spares to take for remotae areas, not recovery equpiment etc but things to get you back home in the event of something breaking, such as a spare idler arm or spare for something that may break in 4x4 conditions.
What do some of us take for these situations?

At the risk of being told I'm too rude when I suggest it I'm sure there is a number of threads about this which may or may not include specific locations. I seem to remember one recently about spares to take to the Simpson and I'm sure a while ago there was something to do with a Nth QLD trip. The threads might even be in the Trips and Touring sections I don;t remember, but if nothing else since this thread hasn't been replied to in nearly 12 hours at least it's a bump to the top. Cant get my nicer than that.
