From memory its the black plug on the right side near the torsion bar adjuster.

Its next to the gearstick on the top/side of the gearbox on the drivers side. Has a blue cap on the back of it.
Best way to undo it, is to access it from the top.
But you have to pull the carpet up.

Well after getting off my ring i got this sorted with unplugging it, so happy i now don't have to hold the gear stick in 3rd and 4th.
I can't believe how much it became habit i now have to remind myself to let go of the gear stick haha

So unplugging the switch fixes the problem ?
MMM as it is just starting to become a pain in the A>S !
Nissan quoted me around $285.00 FITTED.
