have slight movement in idler arm and not sure best way to fix .Fit idler arm brace or replace whole arm with a snake racing heavy duty unit .Has anyone fitted one of these HD idlers

I have the idlers ARM brace there is a picture in my build thread. I'm not sure on what needs doing on Urs but when mine goes ill be upgrading to hd one with the brace.

With the heavy duty idler it looks like you can not use your brace .The heavy duty unit looks to have the brace built in all one piece .Before fitting the brace was there any movement in your idler and if so did the brace firm it up ?

Na no movement the car was brand new. My mechanic told me it was a good idea for bigger tires and 4wding to stop it flogging bushes.
