My 2007 STX will relock itself, if it has been unlocked but none of the doors have been opened. Has happened a number of times when leaving work, while approaching car unlock the vehicle, then get distracted talking to a colleague the car will relock.

Had the timing chain in my D40 done a couple of weeks ago. Twin row chain upgrade. Cost $2870. Mechanic in Orange NSW. $300o for genuine replacement seems over priced.

Hi all, Found that the "flap" on the end of the arm in the EGR valve had come off. I was lucky that the engine was shut down by the ECU. Have replace the EGR Valve and after an appropriate time will blank the EGR system. Repairer wouldn't install a blanking plate. Also whilst checking the ECU...

Thanks to all. Fitted new neutral switch today. Removed cross member under gearbox to allow better access. Local stealership had the switch on the shelf for $32. Cruise control now works in all gears, and at low speeds.

Hi All, I have searched the forum and have not been able to see any one with a similar problem. The Cruise Control in my 2007 STX, (YD25, 6 speed manual), will only set at speeds above 80kph. It used to set at around 50 kph. We have checked clutch and brake switches, both appear to be ok...

My 2007 Spanish STx didn't come with the temp display. However there was another thread, something about "Ambient Temp" in the title. After reading this thread I obtained a sensor from the local stealership. and following the instructions in the thread the display works fine.:cheers!:

Don't know why you have been charged so much. My green slip (paid 1st Oct) was $435.24, it is with the NRMA in NSW.

:pissedoff: Finally have fixed the problem. There was the smallest of "bruises" on the outer covering about 10mm fron the closest grmmet to the sensor. It appears that the wires are broken inside the insulation.
