After finally been home from work I got the scoop done today, made a massive difference! Improved torque and lower egts. A slight noise from the cooler but not too much at all!

Good so far, no noticable change in power but its only a small cooler and would need the scoop to be any sort of effective, its there mostly to protect engine and reduce highway egt's. Will see how she goes with the scoop on the highway!

If diesel was in the sump id be concerned as to the condition of your bearings. Last time i checked diesel wasent a good former of the required hydrostatic wedge that protects the bearing surface. Drain your sump and run a magnet through the bucket to check for metal particles, mite even be...

I finished my top mount micro cooler today (without the scoop yet) see how it goes!

I got a quote today from Opposite Lock, $1500 supplyed plus $450 inslatted with new bearings ect. Think I mite go for the rear as my LSD is not looking to healthy and I like the idea of been able to steer while needing to lock a diff!

top mount Micro IC with scoop. Simple and helps take a bit of the heat out of it, plus with the reduced cost I can get one of your turbos too!!!

No worries, as soon as i get my new cooler set up sorted out i will probably order one of these bad boys!

Leaver, i would be more concerned with a egt gauge as happy john said, and a boost gauge as these are much more important and if anything is wrong the stock gauge for water temp will let you know!
