I am not sure why you can't clutch start you car, I have a 2009 Kingcab D40 that I have clutch started a few times. I didn't do anything special just slow rolling starts in forward and reverse.
I have a spare combination switch which I modified following Malicious's instructions if anyone wants one. I haven't tested it but it's the second one that I've done and I'm pretty sure it's good. Just pay the postage and send me the old one?

If the 2" lift spring set has extra leaves you probably will need longer ubolts than standard. Sometimes with one extra leaf you can get away with the standard bolts.

Do you think putting 12 volts on pin 16 of the 4wd selector switch whilst leaving the switch in the 2wd position would do it?
