I'm thinking of doing my timing chains too as I have 107000 on the clock and I makes a rattling noise on start up when cold, gets less when warm but it's still there and matches engine rpm. Does anyone know how much for the parts?

I use a cat filter strap and a 12 inch extension on my ratchet, this combo makes it easy from up top without removing anything.

mine is leaking to mate, i'm thinking my breather was blocked at some stage. Going to get nissian to do it but, if you don't set the height adjustment correctly the crown and pinon teeth mesh will be out causing wear on the heel or toe of the teeth. I think i'll put a diff breather kit on.

thanks for the information guys, i didn't know that extended shackles were illegal. i think i'll just put a standed height greaseable shackle in and get the lift from a larger leaf and shock.

hi all my name is humey and i've just joined the site. i've got a 2008 d40 st-x and are looking at changing the suspension to give me a 2 inch lift. prob going to fit tough dog struts front and rear and coils from snakeracing. i would like to know if its a good idea to fit a 50mm extended...
