Hi, Do a search on "limp mode" seems to be a problem on every Diesel engine. Mine does it if I've let it idle for too long. Turn engine off and back on and it's fine. I seem to fix the issue by adding a fuel additive. I've started regularly adding additives now on every refill now.

I've been told to do my brakes every time I've taken it in for service since the 30k service. I've refused each time, said no thanks. It's now on 137k on odometer and the brakes are fine. Check the pads yourself, don't listen to Nissan service. D22 is like no other car I've owned, it's a beast.

Economy ranging from 5.9 l/100 km freeway to 7.3 l /100 km city driving ? Surely that's not possible, that's looking more like Toyota Prius territory. Would love to see the D22 make a comeback with this new engine, as they've done in past.

I've now got a OBD2 BT adapter and I've downloaded all the apps on an android phone. Next time it happens I'm prepared.

Thank you Tonyd22, I didn't realise you're able to get codes without any further equipment! I drove car this morning, no problems at all. Then I left it idling for a few minutes, and same issue. No power, unable to rev above 3k rpm.. Restart motor and it's back to normal again. It's done 3 times...
