The same thing happened to me several years after I bought the car and I realised they had never given me a number (I had a card for it, just no number on it). I called the dealer and explained the problem, gave them the VIN and they gave me the code in a matter of minutes. Dean

Just resurrecting an old post here but there's some of the Outback ideas recovery points for D22's (and D40's) on eBay at the moment and I was wondering where they fit on a D22 ('05 STR). Do I need to drill holes or is there a provision for them already? Thanks, Dean

Just been reading the fitting instructions for my Nissan snorkel and found..."use cold cure silicon or urethane" when assembling joints and "To ensure an airtight seal on your system, use cold cure silicon or urethane on the joints of all under bonnet plumbing". Dean

Mine didn't do it until I changed to a different oil. It originally only lit up for a second or two. I now use Penrite HPR Diesel 5W-40 and ever since I switched, the oil light now takes 4-5 seconds to go out. Dean

It's an 05 model and has never felt that great (I've had it since new). I'm in QLD and so use it often. It seems that you have to have the blowers on full and get the engine reving high to make it sufficiently cold. Other cars I use with AC seem to be the opposite, you get too cold when their...

I've always found the AirCon a bit weak on my D22 ZD30 compared to other cars. Does anyone else think this about their D22 or is there something wrong with my car. Dean

We've also got a roof mounted Chromagen which was fitted when our house was built. We didn't know much about solar systems at the time and relied on the builder to select a unit. It's been running for over two years now and we've had no problems at all with it. Dean

I am using Penrite HPR Diesel 5 5W-40 on my 2005 ZD30 STR (110,000k) This is the oil that Penrite recommend on their website for my car but I notice that nobody else seem to be using it. Is there any reason I shouldn't be using HPR 5W-40? Dean

They are wearing evenly. I change front to rears every 10,000k but this doesn't seem to make a difference with the pulling. It's really annoying me now, I think I'll get it looked at again. Dean
