Mate I've been running mine that way now for over 18 months and have had no dramas. Scangauge reads around 14.4V every time I check it.
Second battery in the tray stays 100% charged.
I just plug mine back in before I go to the stealership for a service and unplug when I get home.
Super Cheap have the 9000 pound Ridge Ryder winch for half price now $379.
Not sure how good they are, probably just big enough for a D40.
Gonna wait till I get a bull bar before layin out any $$$ for a winch though!!
Well I went to the stealership yesterday for my 10k service - will probably be the last time Nissan get their grubby hands on it (only reason I went to them was I heard that they reflashed the ECU with a standard tune at the 10k service, not sure if its true or not)
Anyway after I asked them to...
Some solar regs will have a "load" connection for you to hook your appliances to. They will try and save your battery from over discharge.
Depending on the type of reg they will disconnect the battery from the "load" terminals at a preset voltage - maybe 10.5V. They may also be current limited...
Well there you go.
Everyone should stop and listen he has a mate that works on exhausts therefore should know everything there is worth knowing about timing chains....
17-18km/L towing a 2 tonne trailer in an auto seems pretty normal to me.
I get about the same sitting on 100/110 towing a full size van about 2 tonne.
Mine is a six speed manual.
