Don't make the mistake I did and have the clamps on the edge of the silicone hose (It's to short imo). On a corrugated roads it worked its way off and the v6 doesn't go to well with no boost!
In the pursuit of getting rid of the down low "turbo lag" and a little extra fuel economy my next mod is a chip. I would prefer an ecu tune but because I live in the sticks I believe the plug n play type of performance better suits me. So I was wondering if anyone can give some feedback on the...
Yeah thanks old Tony I did read that and tried it as well. The car felt a bit different when I drove it and I was making sure It did the job. There must be another way because disconnecting the earth while the ignition is on doesn't seem right.
Anyone done this for there V6? I'm starting to ad a few mods and and a ecu reset wouldn't hurt. I see the 4 cylinder you just pull off the negative terminal and turn the ignition to on and wait till all power goes out. I have a Pathfinder ti550 so it might be different but I cant turn the key on...
<--- One post wonder. I blame smart phones. I sit on the bus on the way to work reading forums and by the time I get home I cant be stuffed logging in commenting. I have a new phone turning up this week so I'll try out this taptalk for android.
Great car you have there. Looks like the perfect car for your needs. I was in the market for a wildtrak but I couldn't justify the price when the base model has the same driveline. But you have used it to your advantage. That's why I ended up with the v6 pathfinder. The wagon ranger looks great...
3.2. After 6 months there falling to bits. Not the best comparison because they replaced landcruises that are still going hard after 200000km on dirt roads. Don't let the good looks a ranger suck you in.
Our fleet has changed from landcruises to rangers and there falling to bits. One blew a seal in the turbo and dumped a heap of oil. I was on the market a year ago when they came out and I'm very happy I picked the Nissan v6.
Keeping a eye on this thread. Looks to be well worth the upgrade if the exhaust is the same as the pathfinder. A DPF that isn't even connected and the biggest/heaviest muffler I've ever seen. Taipan is on top of my list but I see iron are doing a bolt on 3" kit now.
