Nearly all cars I have experienced will piss coolant out when you take the radiator cap off. It means the system is working and holding pressure, which is what prevents it from overheating. Sounds normal by the sounds of it?

I bought a genuine key for my spanish D40 from Ebay, got the key cut and then got Nissan to program it when I got a recall done. It cost about $80 for the programming and $70 odd for the key from the UK. Nissan did query where the key came from, I just said I just bought the car and the owner...

Mines done 210,000kms on the original chain, would it be worthwhile to pay someone to check it out? At those km, its a bit noisy, but nothing out of the ordinary. It blows a bit of smoke sometimes when I take off, although that could be the injectors. Thoughts?

What a pain. I can see a set of these being a bit. I'll be replacing them with normal screws once I get them off.

Hi all, I noticed today the steering column shroud as unclipped at the top and will not clip back on, so Im wanting to take it off to have a look to see if there are broken ones. Does anyone know what type of screws they are? Its not a phillips or torx type, but some other foreign one! Thanks

I just got my recall notice in the mail and is one of the affected towbars with 2 x 3 underside chassis bolts mounting it. Here is a copy of the letter I got.

Im assuming your daughter is at fault? I cannot understand how you'd be able to claim off AAMI if your car is the at fault party. Damage is consistent with being reversed into and without independant witnesses, it would be hard to prove its pre-existing damage.

Mine has a rattle at all sorts but thats the gearbox chatter I believe. Does it make the noise when you rev it out of gear in neutral?

Hi everyone, I know it can be hard to diagnose a noise, although I was wondering if this noise (aroud the 20 second mark) is gearbox chatter? Or just the noise a diesel makes. It seems to do it under load, but not all the time. Car is a Navara D40 diesel with a single mass flywheel. Thanks...
