    Tray design and build

Just the tray to start with. But will probably build a tradesman type canopy that will slide on and off as needed. Gunna go with a steel tray, as I think it will settle the rear end a bit with the extra weight. Then an alloy canopy.

Thanks Scooba. Thats a good starting point. Just need chassis rail width to get started now.

    Tray design and build

I've decided that I am going to design and build my own tray for my Nav. I have a good 3D design program that I am going to use for the design. My current problem is that I am on the other side of the world and won't have access to my vehicle for quite some time. I'm hoping that someone may be...

    R180A E-Locker.

I remember 4wd a^(%*n did a test on all of the available lockers including lokka, air lockers and the eaton e-locker either last year or the year before. From memory, the eaton e-locker went reasonably well, although there was some indentations in the carrier from were the pins were seated.

    T-case noise

I was out in the high country this weekend (checking out Craigs Hut) and noticed that during overrun conditions (ie engine braking) in 4wd, a growling noise was coming from the transmission or t-case area. There is no noise under driving load in 4wd. I have read the threads on transfer chains...

    Wheel aligner in Albury

Anyone know of a good wheel aligner in the Albury area? Seems as though the guys who did it last time were'nt as good as they talked themselves up to be.

    D22 fuel economy

I agree in principle, however; if you are going to use the GPS method, you must ensure that you do so on a flat road with no hills. The reason being, is that as far as I am aware, a GPS will read distance in a flat plane. So if you were going up and down hills, the distance travelled across the...

    D22 fuel economy

I'm pretty sure that I have my speedo error the right way around becuase the coppers have flashed me a few times when I've been sitting on 100km/h. But I may be wrong.

    D22 fuel economy

Hi everyone, this is my first thread so be nice. I'm not sure if anyone has posted this info before, but here it is anyway. I have just completed a drive from Darwin to Albury and did fuel calculations for the entire trip. I started with a full tank (125L) of fuel and maintained a record of...

    d22 intercooler

They quoted me $2178.00 + freight for the D22 kit. From memory Denco were around the same money and Taipan was quite a bit higher. The 4wd systems kit seems to be a bit of thrown together kit from the looks of the pics on there web site.

    d22 intercooler

On a different note. Has anyone fitted the water to air kit from 4wd systems?
