Well i hate to say this but due to buying a house i am having to cancel my conversion and sell the Nav , so if anybody wants a nav project in WA i have one in the for sale section of this site. Good luck with the build guys i will be watching on with envy

Thx guys , It took a fair bit to get it to that stage , also fitted canopy now. Just need to get it back on the road now. Needs new engine , thinking a TD27T conversion

Good to see its out , I hate those annoying bolts that slow everything up. Keep the build going mate. Mine has stalled as i have to pack up , and do work to the new house before we move. Would prefer to be doing the Nav !!!

Nah mate not triple jointed arms , just using 3 swivel joints and 3 extension bars , still not easy but i will be able to get to it.

Well looking at mine , you can reach it with a socket from the ground , However I have a 2" body lift , so if you were thinking body lift id do it now , would help.

I believe the only difference is with the internal parts , ie the airbox connectors. The body work is the same as i put a 92 fender on my 86 Nav exactly the same. If you do fit it , let us know how it goes

Hey mate i did some research and what ive found seems to confirm your theory , vacuum diaphram for idle control with AC. As for the relay it would make sense that it control the fast idle on/off with AC I asked a diesel Mechanic mate and thats what he said they sound like without seeing the parts

Just looked on ebay and sees there are a few different types of universal diesel tacho signal pickup systems available. Most work off the fly wheel and count teeth.

For the glow plug timer , you could use a basic style turbo timer except instead of cutting the ignition it will cut the power to the glow plugs. By basic style what im refering to is what my old jackaroo had , you could choose 15 sec 30 45 etc buy just pushing the right button . Or a...
