    What D40 to buy?

Hey guys I'm currently driving a 2011 GU Patrol but my 4x4 weekends are few and far between. So I am thinking of buying a modern ute as its more functional. I'm 6"5 so I need a big cabin which the D40 delivers at a reasonable price. My budget is the $22g mark. I have been trawling through...

Thanks for the great reply Tony. I heard of clutches being flogged out prematurely on the earlier d40, anyone heard of this?

    Changes to D40

Hey guys Im looking at getting another Nav. This time a d40. I would love a 2013 ST with the 140kw 2.5lt but a 2006 popped up with really low kms. I was wondering, were there any upgrades/fixes/improvements etc that have occurred since 2006 and now? Thanks DAn

    Body lift picture thread

Nice looking rig, pitty its a D40. If we could keep the thread dedicated to the D22, that would be great. There are alot more D22s out there then D40s. I dont know why companies dont put more research & development into the D22!?!

    Body lift picture thread

Hey guys I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread filled with pictures of body lifts. I did a forum and google search and finding some decent pictures of D22 body lifts are hard to come by. Can we please get some pictures of different areas of your D22's before and/or after you fit...

3inch or 2.5 straight through exhaust

Agreed. You could put a 5" cat back exhaust on and you will get no imprement with the stock dump and cat in place. The difference between 2.5 and 3 exhaust has been :deadhorse2: Everyone who has a 3" will say "get a 3" but a 2.5 will do the same job and cost alot less.

    My so called 3" lift

As you can see the top of my VC boots are squashed together. That means as they rotate as I drive they will eventually wear out and split. The more you wind them up for a higher lift the more they squash together. My lift is about 2" and wouldnt like to go any higher. I considered diff drop...

My 3.0 custom intake and aux battery

I considered the 80 box. It was too big and for a low power engine, I dont think a bigger air box would make much of a difference.

    My so called 3" lift

I wish I didnt buy the UCS now as I dont do a great deal of off roading. I would have got the same amount of lift with stock arms minus a bit up travel. Would you please post a side on picture of your d22? Im considering a body lift too. I just dont like how the engine sinks into the engine bay...

    My so called 3" lift

After many of weeks debating to go the cheap 2" lift or splurge on the 3" lift I decided to take advantage of the Snake Racing Xmas special and go the 3" lift. Im not new to lifting 4x4s as I have had 3 utes and 2 Patrols with quite a bit of suspension work done. Upper control arms Creates...

My 3.0 custom intake and aux battery

Some of you may have realised I dont have the crank case vent plumbed back into the intake. Sssh, thats our secret. I have a hose running from the crank case all the way to th back of the car, exiting at the exhaust pipe.

My 3.0 custom intake and aux battery

Hey guys I thought some of you might be interested in seeing my custom air intake and room I made for a 2nd battery. All parts are from ebay and piping from my local exhaust shop.
