Hi guys. Long story short , my mates d40 got hot, now using water, cracked/warped the head. We replaced the head on my dads years ago and it cost near 7k. Is it cheaper these days, or are people just swapping whole motors out now.? Sent from my 0PJA10 using Tapatalk

I had cruise intermittently not work. Ended up being the clutch pedal not coming all the way up. Making it think your foot is on the clutch.

I did a search couldn't find anything. With the colder mornings i've been turning on the heater and after a few days kinda thought, "this isn't working". put it flat out, still cold air. Anyone had this problem? 2.5 d40 .

just block it off and join the water hose's together.. blocked my dads off the other day. it's got a steinbauer chip and would blow a heap of smoke. now it runs almost clean. way better. $1100! i'd laugh and walk out.

Yeah great thread, read the whole thing too. I've only got 1500km's on mine and already keen to do this. my dad has a chipped d40 which smoke's pretty bad when up it, so will do both. Krom, i can't see it being a problem, just won't look as neat. get a flapper disk on an angle grinder to take...
